AAA Corporate Travel Services is Wayne State University’s lead travel agency and is a full-service agency providing air, hotel and rental car arrangements for all university related business travel.
International Travel:
Please note that the Fly America Act is now in effect. The Fly America Act requires that foreign air travel funded with Federal dollars be performed on U.S. flag air carriers, unless one has a good reason not to.* This applies to ALL foreign travel funded by Federal dollars which means that these restrictions also apply to Federal Government employees on official travel, not just Federal financial assistance recipients and Federal contractors. The regulations implementing the restrictions of the Fly America Act found at 41 CFR Parts 301-10.131 through 301-10.143 are part of the Federal Travel Regulations promulgated by the General Services Administration (GSA). Travel Profile:
Your travel profile is the collection of travel data AAA will need to arrange your Wayne State University business travel.
In order to use AAA, all travelers must have a properly approved traveler profile on file. The dean, in academic units, or vice present or assistant vice president, in the non-academic units, must approve the form. Download a travel profile form.
Travel profile instruction can be found in the Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual, section7.0, page 352-387.
Once you have completed your travel profile and had it approved, please e-mail it to William Giammara at ah5656@wayne.edu or, fax it to (313) 577-8690.
Book Online:
Once your travel profile is complete, you can book your travel using RESX, an online booking tool.

Please Note:
The centralized travel ticket distribution process has been replaced with electronic ticketing. Those travelers that require a paper ticket (i.e. for international flights) may have their tickets delivered to their department by mail or courier. Visit the AAA Travel Web Site at www.aaa.com
